THE SUMMER OF PLUNDER

The third annual Summer of Plunder campaign is just around the corner for the Firelock Games community!

The Summer of Plunder is a global organized play campaign event for Blood & Plunder and Oak & Iron players. Participation is free and open to all players.

Each week over the summer, as you play games at home, at game stores or at conventions. You log your games here at Blood & Pigment over the Summer. Win or lose, each game played earns points for yourself and a chosen nation you want to support.

We have included essential information from the article below as well:
– This year’s Summer of Plunder starts on June 4th and will end on August 21st.

– The campaign is divided into Sunday-Saturday weeks. Each week will feature a new optional objective and updated national standings and map status.

–  You can play anywhere in the world: at your game store or at home

– Plunder is plenty! prizes are awarded for all sorts of things, ranging from random entries to best photos, to most total points, to most new players taught.

WAR STORIES AND RAISE THE BLACK

In case you have missed it, both War Stories and Raise the Black have been released! 

War Stories is a roleplaying game set during the Second World War. With it, you and your friends may play the roles of heroic soldiers parachuting into Normandy during Operation Overlord in June of 1944, or as a harried tank crew grinding their way through France in the breakout that followed. You may even explore history as an intrepid war correspondent or an underground resistance fighter. The campaign game will allow players to tell the tale of their stalwart band as they collectively liberate France and drive onward toward victory. Above all, players will create moments of valor and courage, ultimately weaving their personal tales into the fabric of history, from D-Day and beyond. These will be their War Stories.

The Raise the Black Expansion book will feature new units and factions with a focus on active powers during the second French & Indian War, also known as Queen Anne’s War. You can expect to find mixed European and Native American raiding parties, the last wave of buccaneers, regular army units, and PLENTY of pirates.

BLOOD & CROWNS

Firelock will soon be adding another pillar to our “Blood &” series of games – Blood & Crowns: A game of miniature battles in the Hundred Years War. The game stretches from the 1314 victory of Robert the Bruce’s Scottish army at Bannockburn, to the outbreak of the War of the Roses in 1455. It will also be based upon the critically acclaimed Blood & Plunder ruleset.
